hi i’m hazel!

I started Hazel Jane Embroiders back in Summer 2020 merely as a “pandemic hobby”. I soon realized— “hey, people REALLY love their pets!” and decided to take my passion project to the next level.

I am completely self-taught and everything I make is entirely done by hand…well, paw actually. Each piece takes at minimum 10 hours to create: from sketch, to each tiny stitch— there are absolutely no computers or machines involved in my work. Can you imagine a dog operating a machine? Woof!

I live in sunny Los Angeles with my cool mom (also my handy assistant), my dad, and my baby brother. I am a Capricorn who loves chasing squirrels, any type of cheese, and the song “Tarzan Boy” by Baltimora.
